Monday Mugs - Whatever the heck I want!!

This week at Monday Mugs, we got to pick our own theme! I am using some more pics from yesterday's adventure at the park. Both boys conquered a fear yesterday that they couldn't do last fall when we were last at the park.

Below, Adam was too afraid to climb the "dinosaur bones", but this year, he cautiously did it (with his bro closely behind for support)!!

Though it doesn't at all look steep in the picture, Nick is riding his bike down a very tall terrain from an old barn/shed to the playgroud. If you don'y have control, you will crash into the big twisty slide. This time he had confidence, control, and lots of giggles afterward!

Monday Mugs - Play

This week's theme is "play" and my boys love to play.

Whether were "playing" & helping Daddy mow the lawn...

or "playing" on the monkey bars, or maybe...

"playing" t-ball last year when we made our first hit ever,

...we love to climb and "play" at our favorite park, or...

loading up a water gun, and laughing as Mommy gets wet, but...

Sometimes, after a long day of "play", we just want to sit & relax on the swing and "play" a little by ourselves.

Snow Day Fun

Snow days are fun, especially when you wake up to a white suprise you weren't planning on!! Snow always makes a beautiful background for some really great photos.
We love to play in the snow.

It takes a while to pile the layers on, but there is always time for a photo session.

Almost ready.

Posing? Snobby? or just plain Sweet? Who knows, but his candid shot turned out really cute.

Let it Snow!!

The editing made this photo gorgeous!!

I love this shot!

Daddy is taking this picture. I should have used the tripod. It would have made a great family photo.

Playing Around With Photo Editing

I love these effects.

The black and white is precious.

I always like the nice vibrant, clean colors or photos, but these effects turned out kind of neat.
What do you think?

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

Isn't it beautiful? The kids were so excited. There is nothing like the first snowfall of the season, especially when you get to build a snowman!

A Date With The Ducks

We brought one big sand bucket full of corn and a we all had a great time feeding the many ducks at our local pond. This pond is beside Nick's school and he recently had a field trip there. It has always been a favorite spot of ours since Nick was a baby. The have a beautiful pavilion and picnic area and a super park for the kids to play. There is also a nature center to teach the children about gardening, recycling, and vegetation. Fun Place!!

Playing Outside

It was a really cloudy evening, Daddy was fishing, and we were bored so we took battery run Thomas trains outside to play and turned our playyard into a train town.
It was a fun way to pass some time.

Look what I learned to do!

Where's the water?

Just playing.

Bubbles!! One of Adam's favorite outdoor activities.

My sweet boy.

Spill proof bubbles - What a great invention for a 2 year old.
