Day Dreaming...

It's been a really, really long, cold, snowing, staying inside kind of winter. It is now March. In my opinion the longest month of the year. 31 days, finishing up the harsh winter weather, the arrival of spring, the few warm "teaser" days, the final yucky month before things seem to thaw out and the hope and excitement of spring starts to arrive.
I hate March. I hope it goes by very quickly.
I am tired of winter. I am constantly Day Dreaming of spring and summer. The warm temperatures, playing outside, day trips and vacations, open windows, the wonderful outdoor air, the smell of fresh cut grass and the carefree world of enjoy the outdoors. Yes my friends, winter was long enough and it's time to say good -bye! I booked 2 seperate vacations to the beach over the last 4 days (one vacation for May and one for July). Once March is over, the winter woes will end.
Think Spring!!

I never thought I'd...

I have seen this post on many of my blogger friends websites and thought I would add my version.

10 Things I Never Thought I Would Do...

1. I never thought I would be in bed most nights by 9:30pm.

2. I never thought I would catch vomit in my hands (gross, I know).

3. I never thought a crayon drawing on construction paper would bring tears to my eyes.

4. I never thought I would have to do laundry everyday.

5. I never thought that I would think waking up at 6:30 would be "sleeping in".

6. I never thought that someday every decision I make affects someone other than me.

7. I never thought that I could stay up all night with a sick, crying child, who needed their Mommy and not feel sorry for myself because I never got any sleep.

8. I never thought that a great outing on a day off of work would include happy meals and Toys R Us.

9. I never thought that dinners and evenings out with my hubby would be rare and that we would have to make the most out of ever second we were given to be on our own.

10. I never thought I would would see myself as second or third when there were people more important than I. People whose lives depend on every decision I make and people who love me unconditinal, no matter what. People who would not expect nothing more from me than to come home each day and just "be there". People who can change my whole mood just by giving me a huge hug or a sweet kiss. That being called "wife" and "mommy" would be the best words I ever heard or best job I ever had!

I invite each of my blog readers to participate in this posting on their site and leave a comment on mine linking me to your 10 things you never thought you'd do. Have fun!

Blogging & Rambling

I NEVER, EVER imagined that blogging would be as addictive as it is turning out to be.

Since joining Mr.Mclinky I can't stop blog hopping, but I must say I have discovered many awesome people. People that I can relate to as a mom, a wife, working woman, or to just gain a laugh. I haven't posted a written blog in a while since most of my recent posts have been showing off pictures of my beautiful boys, so I will spend some time catching up with recent happpenings in my life.

First of all...anyone who has been following my blog knows that I never keep a blog design for long. I have had more backgrounds than I can count. I have never felt that any of them represented the spirit of my blog. I have found a design that I am finally happy with and I plan to keep it for my summer background and limit my changes to seasonal. What do you think?

Tomorrow Ray and I are suprising Adam by taking him on a trip to the National Aquarium. He is fasinated by fish and water so it should be areal treat. Nick is on a mini vacation to my grandparents summer home so we are a family of 3 for a total of 5 days. Adams has been enjoying the extra attention and our trip tomorrow should be great and it gives us the pleasaure of a special day with just him. We try to give our kids a special day with us ever once and a while. I always see a different side to my kids when they are by themselves and special memories are always created.

Well, I've rambled about nothing long enough. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!!! I promise to post many pictures on monday of "Adam's Special Weekend"
