Wordful Wednesday

My son is HUGE into Star Wars now. We have everything from action figures to books, entire bedroom decor to clothing, bookbags to lunch boxes. I bought him this cape at a Halloween clearance sale about a month ago at Party City and this past weekend he got the blue lightsaber he's been wanting. Ta Da! A complete Obi Won Kenobi costume. Aside from getting in trouble a few times for innappropriately hitting his little brother with the light saber, he's been having a great time using his very large imagination!

Since Ray had taken Nick on a "big boys" vacation and Adam stayed home with me, he bought Adam a bike (that he really wanted) as treat for him before they left. These pictures capture his excitement and pure joy of receiving his gift.

Wordful Wednesday - Celebrities on the Boardwalk!

We just got back from an amazing trip to the beach. These images are from the boardwlk. Vendors were dressed as characters to earn extra money from gaining tips as they posed for photos. Well, needless to say, my children were absolutely, completely starstruck! It's almost like seeing the character validated that they must be real!! I think the photos captured there excitement quite well!
