10 Things to Smile About in November ~ A little late!

1. I started a new job 10 minutes from home instead of the 45 min. one way I used to drive ~~~and I love it!!!!

2. I turned 34 years old!

3. Nicholas turned 7 years old 12 days after my birthday!

4. A wonderful Thanksgiving with my family. I am blessed.

5. Christmas shopping & decorating ... I love it!

6. Watching the Christmas parade and seeing my kids have fun.

7. A super Saturday with just me and the hubby...thank you Mom & Dad!

8. Being able to put Nick on the bus in the morning and having breakfast with him each day since I don't have to leave for work so early anymore (it's been wonderful).

9. Being able to turn the fire place on on a chilly evening.

10. MY VERY BEST FRIENDS LIZ FINALLY GOT ENGAGED!!!!!!

A Really Bad Blogger!

I've been a really bad blogger...but I hope to be better! Things have been crazy, hectic, andthis left for little blogging time, but I've been reading. Sometimes little blog breaks are needed - but I hope to be back at it. The holidays are the perfect time to blog, capture memories and share them with all my bloggy friends! Happy Holidays!

True Story Tuesday

Each Sunday after church Nick attends 1st grade Sunday School. It lasts about an hour. I usually sit in the empty room beside his classroom and read a book. I can usually hear most of what the class is learning.

I had to chuckle last week when the class was asked "where do you go when you die?" They were hinting at 'heaven' as the right answer. Nick was called on to answer the question. His response...the graveyard! Ohh so true his teacher said, but where does you spirit go...he then replied 'heaven'. It was a cute & innocent morning laugh.

Monday Mugs - Best Friends!

This week's theme is best friends.

I couldn't do this post with including my husband Ray. We've been best friends for almost 15 years, married for 9, and through ups, downs, and laughs, he always sticks by me!

Of course I HAVE to mention my best girl Liz. Since 3rd grade we've been besties. We shared many memories, laughs, secrets, tears, and great times! Love you girl!

As my boys age, i am anxious to notice the relatioships they will develop. Below is Adam at a recent camping trip with his friend Christopher.
