Monday Mugs ~ Wind

I'm teaming up with Heather and her cuties for Monday Mugs. This weeks theme is * WIND * Last Labor Day Weekend, my best friend Liz and I decided to leave life behind and escape to the beach for a glorious 5 day weekend.

Hurrican Earl also decided to join us. The wind was undescribable. The best part was, after the hurricane passes, we had the most pretty, warm, sunny, fantastic weekend ever.

Monday Mugs - Whatever the heck I want!!

This week at Monday Mugs, we got to pick our own theme! I am using some more pics from yesterday's adventure at the park. Both boys conquered a fear yesterday that they couldn't do last fall when we were last at the park.

Below, Adam was too afraid to climb the "dinosaur bones", but this year, he cautiously did it (with his bro closely behind for support)!!

Though it doesn't at all look steep in the picture, Nick is riding his bike down a very tall terrain from an old barn/shed to the playgroud. If you don'y have control, you will crash into the big twisty slide. This time he had confidence, control, and lots of giggles afterward!

Monday Mugs - Best Friends!

This week's theme is best friends.

I couldn't do this post with including my husband Ray. We've been best friends for almost 15 years, married for 9, and through ups, downs, and laughs, he always sticks by me!

Of course I HAVE to mention my best girl Liz. Since 3rd grade we've been besties. We shared many memories, laughs, secrets, tears, and great times! Love you girl!

As my boys age, i am anxious to notice the relatioships they will develop. Below is Adam at a recent camping trip with his friend Christopher.
